📈 AI STOCK TRACKER
The US tech sector experienced a notable rebound, with the Nasdaq Composite rising 1.2%—driven by significant gains in major tech stocks such as Tesla, which surged 7.59%, and NVIDIA, which climbed 6.42%—as cooling inflation data boosted investor sentiment
LATEST IN AI
🚨 Our Report — Google has partnered with robotics developer Apptronik (which has previously worked with NASA and NVIDIA) to launch two AI models for robotics—Gemini Robotics and Gemini Robotics-embodied reasoning (ER)—which are built on its “most capable AI to date,” Gemini 2.0, and are designed to help robots “perform a wider range of real-world tasks than ever before.”
🔓 Key Points:
The Gemini-Robotics model enables robots to understand and respond to instructions, and Google says tests show it also allows robots to understand new situations/environments that it hasn’t been trained on.
In a series of demos, Gemini-Robotics powered robots that were responding to voice commands and completing intricate tasks like folding paper, putting a pair of glasses into a case, and removing bottle caps.
Gemini Robotics-ER is a slimmed-down model that excels at “spatial awareness and task planning,” which “trusted” robotics developers can connect to their own robotics models or systems.
🔐 Relevance — Google hasn't confirmed when these two models will be ready for market yet, but it is training them “to evaluate whether a task is safe to perform” and is also working on an AI safety benchmark which will measure an AI robot's ability to gauge risks, following one they released last year—called “Robot Constitution”—which is a set of Isaac Asimov-inspired safety rules for AI robots to follow.
TOGETHER WITH RYSE
No, it’s not Ring or Nest—meet RYSE, the company redefining smart shade automation.
With $10M+ in revenue and distribution in 127 Best Buy locations, RYSE is rapidly emerging as a top acquisition target in the booming $158B smart home industry, which is projected to grow 23% annually.
RYSE’s patented retrofit technology allows users to automate their window shades in minutes- controlled via smartphone or voice. With 200% YoY growth, demand is skyrocketing.
Now, RYSE’s public offering is live at just $1.90/share, and you can get up to 25% in additional shares.
🚨 Our Report — Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is concerned that spies (particularly from China) are successfully stealing valuable “algorithmic secrets” from top AI firms in the US and has called for more help and support from the US government to intervene and defend against this risk—although he hasn’t specified exactly what help or support he needs.
🔓 Key Points:
Amodei reminded the government that China is known for “large-scale industrial espionage” and strongly believes US tech companies—including his own—are most certainly being targetted.
He stated that there are many alogrhtmic secrets, “some worth $100M,” concealed within just a few lines of code, and he’s “sure folks are trying to steal these secrets, and they may be succeeding.”
This comes after he sent a proposal to the White House earlier this month, calling for stronger AI chip export controls after his tests revealed that China’s DeepSeek scored “the worst” on a critical bioweapons data safety test.
🔐 Relevance — Amodei’s concerns are centered on China because he’s worried it's using AI for authoritarian and military purposes, but his strong stance has triggered criticism from the AI industry as some beleive that, to prevent a devastating arms race—where one country builds an AI system so powerful humans can’t control it—the US should collaborate more with China, not less: Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
Following in the recent footsteps of Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, Salesforce is now planning—over the next 5 years—to invest $1B in Singapore, which is now ranked 3rd globally for AI funding.
Salesforce believes that this $1B injection will “turbocharge” its AI system, Agentforce, which can power “every process, workload, and application with dynamic reasoning and decision making” through AI agents.
Agentforce will help Singapore “rapidly expand” its labor force and address the country’s aging population by creating “digital workforces” that combine humans with autonomous AI agents.
