Our Report: Nvidia has upgraded its flagship chip, from the H100 to the H200, in order to handle bigger AI systems with increased bandwidth memory that can process data more rapidly.
🔑 Key Points:
The H200 will be commercially available next year through major service providers such as Amazon, Google, and Oracle, boasting 141-gigabytes of high-bandwidth memory (a substantial increase from the 80 gigabytes in the H100).
This upgrade is significant for generative AI services—like ChatGPT—as it promises faster response times due to more high-bandwidth memory and improved processing connections.
Furthermore, Micron Technology is touted to be the primary supplier for a September Enterprise release, although this has not been officially announced/set in stone.
This move by Nvidia is likely a strategic effort to maintain their dominance in the AI chip market, especially considering recent announcements from AMD announcing their own AI chips that are set to release by the end of the year.

An Oxford study, funded by the British Heart Foundation, reveals that AI can predict heart attack risks up to a decade in advance. The study, which focused on improving the accuracy of cardiac CT scans for detecting arterial blockages has demonstrated the ability to accurately forecast heart attack risks.
The AI tool was tested on over 40,000 patients, and may lead to changes in treatment plans for nearly half of the patients evaluated, as well as potentially save thousands of lives in the future as the technology is developed further.
According to sources, OpenAI (backed by more Microsoft funding) is developing GPT-5—a model that could reach superintelligence levels (AGI), capable of exceeding human capabilities in reasoning and processing complex ideas.
This will require a huge investment from Microsoft, as creating such sophisticated AI models involves enormous financial and computational resources, training on vast amounts of data (in general, more data = better AI).
Google have just announced legal measures to safeguard AI users and small businesses from two groups of scammers, one of which spread malware by misleading people into downloading harmful software disguised as Google's Bard AI.
Google aims to set legal precedents, disrupt scammer operations, and increase penalties for fraudulent activities, although it’s unlikely that they’ll manage to stay ahead of all fraudulent activities.
