P.S. Yesterday, we made a mistake in editing, stating that Satya Nadella was the CEO of Google and not Microsoft. This was a mistake on our end, and we apologize for any confusion this has caused. We strive for perfection, but sometimes we fall short—hope you all understand!

Our Report: The latest development in the Sam Altman/OpenAI saga includes a memo signed by >700 OpenAI employees threatening to resign if Sam Altman and Greg Brockman are not reinstated.
🔑 Key Points:
The employees (700+/770) have demanded the resignation of the four-person board responsible for Altman's dismissal, citing a lack of competence and judgment.
Key figures, including Mira Murati (previously CTO) and Ilya Sutskever (board member), have expressed regret over the board's decision, whilst a new CEO—Emmett Shear (Former CEO of Twitch) has been announced.
Microsoft has reportedly offered positions to all OpenAI employees, after hiring both Sam Altman & Greg Brockman to head up a division at Microsoft—which would directly oversee OpenAI (checkmate?)
Analysts predict either a mass employee exodus or the board's resignation, drastically altering OpenAI's structure and future. Not surprising, considering 95% of the staff force have threatened to quit.
🤨 Why you should care: This drama has continued to unfold across major outlets, social media, and traditional media, with further details likely to slowly trickle out over the coming days. Whilst we wait, let’s use our time wisely and get started on some free Amazon AI courses that just released yesterday…
What if you had the opportunity to invest in the biggest electronics products before they launched into big box retail, would you?
Through retail distribution deals with Best Buy, Ring changed doorbells and Nest changed thermostats. Early investors in these companies earned massive returns, but the opportunity to invest was limited to a select, wealthy few.
The game has changed, and for once investors have the option to invest in a company that’s gearing up for a massive retail rollout.
RYSE is set to debut in 100+ Best Buy stores this month, and you're in luck—you can still invest at only $1.25/share before their name becomes known nationwide.
They have patented the only mass market shade automation device, and their exclusive deal with Best Buy resembles that which led Ring and Nest to their billion-dollar buyouts.
✅ Brand Strategy
copy & paste ⬇️
"Help me develop a comprehensive brand strategy for our company."
Optimized
"Could you help in developing a comprehensive brand strategy suitable for a company seeking to enhance its market presence? This strategy should encompass key areas such as identifying target demographics, crafting a unique brand voice, and establishing a strong digital footprint. Suggestions should include general tactics for effective social media engagement, content marketing approaches, and methods to differentiate the brand from its competitors. Additionally, it would be helpful to include strategies for building customer loyalty and trust, as well as metrics or methods for evaluating the success of these branding efforts. The focus should be on creating a holistic and adaptable brand strategy that can be tailored to the specific needs and goals of a company."

Amazon is launching free courses—available on AWS Educate and Skill builder sites—on generative AI as part of its "AI Ready" initiative, aiming to provide essential skills to both young learners and adults (as well as promoting Amazon's own AI products like CodeWhisperer and Bedrock AI app maker).
The program includes eight free courses focusing on AI project management and development and offers non-technical learning about the basics of generative AI and project planning.
P.S. Amazon aims to train 2M people by 2025, building on the 21M already trained in AWS cloud computing.
A new report by Google and Boston Consulting Group reveals the potential of AI to significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by 5-10% by 2030, equivalent to the EU's annual emissions.
Highlighted at COP28 in Dubai, the report emphasizes AI tools such as Google Maps' fuel-efficient routing, AI-enhanced flood forecasting, and efficient/sustainable data center practices. Yet another use case for AI outside basic chatbots‚ the true potential of AI is not to be underestimated.
Rokid—an AR glasses manufacturer based in China and the US—has secured $112M in its Series C funding round to expand Rokid's reach in the metaverse to enhance immersive experiences in the metaverse for entertainment and education.
Rokid was founded in 2014, and its products are already used in over 80 countries—primarily to train industrial workers for real-world scenarios. AR technology is still at a stage where it’s yet to really catch on en masse; I wonder if funding rounds such as this will change that?
